Job summary

Abby Care is hiring a Senior Security Analyst to strengthen security operations, threat detection, and risk management. You will lead incident response, vulnerability remediation, and security monitoring across cloud, endpoint, and identity platforms, while mentoring junior analysts and maturing security practices.

The role is a Full-Time Remote opportunity based in the United States, aligning with PST hours.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in security operations, leading incident response end-to-end.
• Healthcare/healthtech security and privacy knowledge (HIPAA) is preferred.
• Hands-on with SIEM/EDR, cloud security, and IAM concepts (SSO, MFA, RBAC).
• Familiar with SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end incident response, threat hunting, and root-cause analysis.
• Maintain incident response playbooks and tabletop exercises.
• Own vulnerability management lifecycle and risk assessments.
• Audit and enforce security controls across Okta, Google Workspace, JAMF, and SentinelOne.
• Automate detection, response, and reporting workflows; mentor teammates.
• Assess and remediate AI/LLM vulnerabilities; pilot AI-driven security tools.
