Job summary

Veriipro is seeking an experienced Senior Security Analyst to manage enterprise Palo Alto firewall infrastructure and lead complex security incident resolution. The role emphasizes hands-on NGFW administration, advanced troubleshooting, and cross-team collaboration to ensure robust network security.

The ideal candidate will have PCNSE certification, experience with Panorama and GlobalProtect, and a strong ITIL Change Management background.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of ITIL Change Management processes.
• Experience using ServiceNow for incident, change, and problem management.
• PCNSE certification is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage centralized firewall infrastructure using Palo Alto Panorama, including device groups, templates, security policies, and configuration deployments.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting of network connectivity, packet drops, asymmetric routing, application access, NAT, VPN, and firewall performance issues.
• Analyze traffic, threat, URL, system, configuration, and GlobalProtect logs to identify security issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Plan and execute PAN-OS upgrades, security content updates, firewall configuration changes, migrations, and scheduled maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with network, SOC, infrastructure, application, cloud, and security teams to resolve major incidents and complex service-related issues.
• Handle L3 escalations from L1/L2 support teams and drive technical issues through resolution.
• Conduct problem management and root-cause analysis to prevent recurring incidents.
• Ensure compliance with ITIL-based change management processes and maintain accurate records in ServiceNow.
• Prepare technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge transfer materials.
