Databricks is seeking a Senior Staff Security Software Engineer to lead the design of a shared Security AI platform. You will define architecture, standards, and multi-year direction to enable secure, scalable AI personas and governance across security functions.

You will drive cross-organizational collaboration, establish guardrails for sensitive workflows, and ensure observability, safety, and reliable production deployment of agentic systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, security platform architecture, or systems security.
• Proven ability to operate at a senior staff level in a major cloud, platform, or high-growth tech company.
• Fluency in Python and modern cloud-native architectures (Kubernetes, high-throughput microservices).

Responsabilités

• Define and evolve the shared Security AI platform architecture and roadmaps.
• Set standards for reliability, observability, evaluation, incident response, and safe deployment.
• Lead cross-org architectural decisions and align security leaders on platform direction.
• Mentor engineers in distributed systems, AI security engineering, and architectural reviews.
• Drive adoption of common platform patterns and secure integration across teams.
