Job summary

Leidos in the INTEL Sector's Cyber & Analytics Business Area seeks an Applications Software Engineer to contribute to secure, scalable web and services development within an agile team.

You'll work on full stack development using modern web technologies and apply SOLID and TDD practices. Collaboration with software, systems, and test engineers is essential to meet mission-driven requirements in a security-focused environment.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Computer Science or equivalent, 8+ years of relevant experience; degree may be substituted.
• Active Secret Clearance required.
• Experience with web-based HTML, CSS, JavaScript in a web environment.
• Experience in Scrum or Agile environments (SAFe, XP).
• Experience with UI frameworks (AngularJS, React, etc.).
• Experience with automated testing tools/concepts (Selenium, Cucumber, Gherkin, BDD).
• Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD).
• Strong team player with excellent written and communication skills.
• DoD 8570 approved security certification (Security+) within 90 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Develop web services and full stack web applications with robust persistence in an Agile Scrum environment.
• Apply SOLID principles, secure coding practices, and TDD within the Leidos framework.
• Collaborate with software, systems, information assurance, test, and QA engineers.
• Help set standards and drive adoption of TDD practices across the team.
