Job summary

Sylver Rain Consulting is seeking a Sr. 508 Tester/Subject Matter Expert to support our Washington DC team and clients. The role focuses on accessibility conformance, testing web sites and documents, and advising on 508 implementation.

You will use manual and automated testing tools, coordinate with client stakeholders, and produce clear compliance reports while coaching teams on accessibility best practices. Requires 5 years of 508 testing experience.

Qualifications

• Detailed knowledge on WCAG AA standards.
• Experience with 508 compliance testing and tools.
• Ability to write test plans and perform integration testing.

Responsibilities

• Verify client’s conformance with accessibility standards and 508.
• Deliver high quality accessibility test results and reports.
• Coach developers on accessibility testing skills for web and content.
• Conduct periodic accessibility assessments and report results clearly.
• Evaluate accessibility tools and advise on implementation.
