Job summary

Sylver Rain Consulting, LLC is seeking a Sr. 508 Tester/Subject Matter Expert to support our Washington DC team and clients. You will test websites, documents, and applications for Section 508 compliance, and advise on technical accessibility implementations.

Responsibilities include validating conformance, delivering reports, coaching teams, and performing accessibility assessments with automated and manual methods. Requires 508 expertise and WAS/Trusted Tester certs.

Qualifications

• Detailed knowledge of WCAG AA standards.
• Familiarity with automation for accessibility testing; strong testing background.
• Experience writing test plans and performing integration tests for 508 compliance.
• Knowledge of testing web-based apps and documents for accessibility.
• Must have 5 years of 508 testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Verify client’s conformance with Section 508.
• Provide 508 testing and technical assistance to clients.
• Deliver high quality accessibility test results and reports.
• Coach development teams on accessibility testing skills.
• Conduct periodic accessibility assessments for client applications.
• Remediate inaccessible content and communicate solutions.
