Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking an Accessibility Subject Matter Expert to collaborate with product, design, and development teams to ensure fully accessible products. You will audit systems for accessibility issues, recommend solutions, and expand accessibility knowledge across the organization.

The role includes socializing and supporting the accessibility strategy and ensuring compliance with Section 508 and WCAG guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related discipline.
• 5+ years of progressive experience with Section 508 compliance and development standards.
• Experience with compliance testing and evaluation of tools and best practices.
• Expertise in accessibility standards and guidelines including WCAG 2.0 and ARIA.
• Experience with assistive technologies across Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product, design and developers to ensure accessible products.
• Audit systems with tools to identify accessibility issues and recommend solutions.
• Lead and socialise the accessibility strategy across the organization.
• Develop templates to support compliance reporting and learning.
• Provide guidance on Section 508, WCAG and related laws for planning and testing.
