Job summary

Stripe is seeking a senior candidate for the Secrets Infrastructure team to own TLS identity and secret management infrastructure used by Stripe services. You will build tools, drive architecture decisions, and collaborate across Go, Java, Ruby, and Python.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with Go and systems programming
• 3+ years of infrastructure and security experience
• Experience in cryptography, PKI, secret management or security topics
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Terraform and cloud platforms
• Strong written and verbal communication; on-call experience

Responsibilities

• Design and implement features in certificate authority and secret management systems
• Work across Go, Java, Ruby, Python to build authentication and secrets infrastructure
• Collaborate with teams to understand needs and design integrations
• Develop certificate provisioning and secret management for Kubernetes, EC2, developer workstations
• Improve reliability to maintain 99.99%+ availability and participate in on-call rotation
• Contribute to design documents and cross-team technical direction
