The position requires at least five years of relevant experience, including public accounting, strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, and CPA status or progress. Hybrid onsite work is expected in Carlsbad.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• CPA certification (or in-progress) preferred.
• At least five years of accounting experience, including two years at a public accounting firm.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and ability to research accounting guidance.
• Experience with SOX controls and internal controls; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support quarterly and year-end financial reporting, including form 10-Q/10-K preparation and XBRL review.
• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for investments, leases, debt, and equity.
• Prepare quarterly consolidated statements of equity and cash flows.
• Ensure internal controls operate as designed and support SOX compliance.
• Monitor and analyze new accounting guidance and prepare memoranda for transactions.
