Job summary

Flex, based in Austin, Texas, is seeking a SEC Manager to join its Corporate Accounting team during SpinCo formation. This role supports the upcoming spin-off of Flex’s Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new publicly traded company.

You’ll lead SEC reporting, maintain SOX controls, and mentor a direct report while collaborating with finance, legal, and external auditors to ensure accurate, timely disclosures, develop global accounting policies, and oversee equity/stock-based

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in a financial reporting/accounting role, including SEC reporting.
• Licensed CPA, or CPA exams passed.
• Deep technical knowledge of SEC reporting requirements and 10-K/10-Q filing mechanics, including iXBRL and Workiva.
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP as applied to equity, stock-based compensation, EPS, and goodwill.
• Working knowledge of SOX compliance processes and internal controls over financial reporting.
• Ability to lead and develop teams, coordinate cross-functional and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, report, and file SEC reports for a publicly traded company (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K).
• Research and summarize impact of SEC/FASB pronouncements; prepare memorandums.
• Liaise with finance, legal counsel and external auditors.
• Partner with the SOX program and global accounting teams to maintain SOX compliance.
• Develop and maintain global accounting policies; manage equity, stock-based compensation, EPS, and goodwill; lead special projects.
• Manage and develop a direct report and coordinate external reporting.
