The role collaborates with cross-functional teams and external auditors, and may engage in merger-related purchase accounting and SEC footnotes. Qualifications include a CPA, a BA/BS in Accounting, 5 years of public company accounting experience, and strong communication and Excel skills.

Qualifications

• CPA required and strong knowledge of US GAAP.
• BA/BS in Accounting or equivalent.
• 5 years of experience in financial reporting/accounting for public company or public accounting firm.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and its application.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual close activities including journal entries and financials for executive leadership.
• Assist with preparation of consolidated financial statements and perform variance analysis on key accounts.
• Prepare financials and related workpapers for 8-K/earnings releases.
• Collaborate with Finance, Tax, Treasury, Internal Audit and other functions on accounting, reporting and compliance.
