Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a Senior SEC Reporting Manager in Houston, TX to lead the preparation and filing of all SEC reports and ensure GAAP/SOX compliance. The role requires a CPA and at least 5 years of SEC reporting experience, preferably in the energy sector.

The successful candidate will coordinate with auditors, support earnings releases and investor presentations, and mentor the financial reporting team in a fast-paced environment. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
Active CPA license mandatory.
Minimum 5 years of SEC reporting or related experience in energy.
In-depth knowledge of US GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX compliance.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee the preparation and filing of all SEC reports (10-Qs, 10-Ks, 8-Ks).
Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements per GAAP and SEC requirements.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure SOX compliance.
Assist in the quarterly earnings release and investor presentations.
Research SEC and GAAP reporting requirements and brief management on changes.
Manage the internal controls over financial reporting and test their effectiveness.
Provide leadership and mentorship to the financial reporting team.
Participate in projects including system implementations, process improvements, and M&A activities.
