Job summary

Athene is seeking an experienced SEC Reporting professional to prepare and analyze the company’s SEC financial statements, footnotes, and related disclosures. The role reports to the SEC Reporting Manager and collaborates across the organization to ensure accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years in public accounting or SEC reporting in the insurance sector, strong analytical and communication abilities, and a CPA and/or FLMI designation is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong US GAAP knowledge and SEC reporting experience preferred.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to draw conclusions from data.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze the company's SEC financial statements and related disclosures.
• Coordinate deadlines with internal departments and stakeholders.
• Research and resolve variances in financial information using accounting techniques.
• Interpret SEC and US GAAP accounting disclosure guidance and perform analytics.
