LHH is seeking a Senior SEC Reporting Analyst for a fast-growing, publicly traded organization with a technology-forward approach. The role focuses on building and enhancing the SEC reporting function rather than joining an established team.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in progressive accounting, strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, and exposure to SEC filings. CPA progress and advanced Excel with Workiva are highly valued, and the position offers strong work‑life balance and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA preferred or progress toward CPA; Master’s in Accounting is a plus.
• 2+ years of progressive accounting experience in SEC reporting or public accounting; Big 4 preferred.
• Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting.
• Experience with internal controls, SOX, or similar reporting frameworks preferred.
• Advanced Excel; Workiva or SEC reporting software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support SEC reporting filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy materials).
• Prepare workpapers and financial statement tie-outs.
• Conduct technical accounting research and GAAP memos.
• Prepare consolidated statements, cash flows, equity, footnotes.
• Review XBRL/interactive data for SEC filings.
• Help document and test ICFR in a SOX environment.
• Collaborate with internal and audit teams to strengthen controls.
• Prepare schedules for quarterly reviews and annual audits.
• Coordinate with FP&A and IR for variance analysis and MD&A data.
• Work cross-functionally to validate financials and disclosures.
• Improve SEC processes with technology and systems.
• Manage multiple reporting deliverables to meet deadlines.
