Job summary

LHH is seeking a Senior SEC Reporting Analyst in Coppell, TX to shape a growing SEC reporting function. The role emphasizes building and enhancing public-company reporting capabilities, with 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience in SEC reporting or public accounting.

The ideal candidate has a solid U.S. GAAP foundation, strong attention to detail, and an interest in deepening technical accounting and public-company reporting expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• CPA license or progress toward CPA certification strongly preferred; Master's degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation and filing of SEC reporting documents, including 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxies, and registration statements.
• Prepare supporting workpapers, tie-outs, and disclosures.
• Conduct technical accounting research and contribute to memos and GAAP compliance.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements, statements of cash flows, equity, and footnote disclosures.
• Validate XBRL/interactive data for SEC filings.
• Support internal controls over financial reporting in a SOX environment.
• Collaborate with internal teams and audits to strengthen controls and reporting processes.
• Prepare audit schedules for quarterly reviews and annual audits.
• Coordinate with FP&A and Investor Relations on MD&A and variance analysis.
• Verify statements, footnotes, and disclosures with cross-functional teams.
• Help build and improve SEC reporting processes leveraging technology.
• Manage multiple deliverables and meet deadlines.
