Job summary

Qnity in Wilmington, Delaware is seeking an experienced accounting professional to lead SEC reporting within a dynamic finance team.

The role requires CPA, a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, and 4+ years in public accounting or public company reporting. You will prepare Form 10-K/10-Q, assist with close processes, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA required.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and external reporting requirements.
• 4+ years experience in public accounting, public company reporting, or a combination of both.
• Experience preparing or reviewing SEC filings, including Forms 10-K and 10-Q.
• Experience with Workiva, SAP, BPC, or similar reporting platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and review of SEC filings, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, Proxy Statements, and other public company disclosures.
• Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant reporting.
• Serve as a trusted resource on technical accounting and disclosure matters, including new accounting standards, acquisitions, divestitures, and other complex transactions.
• Monitor emerging SEC and U.S. GAAP developments and partner across the organization to assess business impacts and support implementation.
• Collaborate with Investor Relations, Legal, Executive Leadership, Corporate Communications, and Finance teams to ensure clear, consistent external reporting.
• Develop disclosures and reporting solutions related to significant business events and strategic initiatives.
• Support sustainability reporting, disclosure governance, and related reporting controls.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve reporting processes, controls, and systems.

What We’re Looking For
