Marmon Foodservice Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced engineer to lead refrigeration-based sealed systems development and improvement across product lines.

You will design, test, and validate cooling solutions, solve complex issues using 8D methodology, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust, safe, and reliable products. The role requires 10+ years in engineering, a degree in engineering, and expertise in thermal simulation tools.

What You’ll Do

• Actively lead and / or participate in project teams focused on New Product Development, Continuous Product Improvement, or Feature Innovation.
• Lead the design, testing, and reviews for refrigeration-based sealed systems across all product lines as a functional expert.
• Lead problem solving activities using 8D methodology to identify root cause of issues and oversee development/implementation of a corrective action plan.
• Utilize mathematical and computer-based engineering analyses to design innovative and reliable solutions for cooling systems across many different product types.
• Develop technical drawings, models, and specifications using engineering software and tools.
• Conduct testing, collect and analyze data, and interpret test results to evaluate the performance, reliability, and safety of engineering solutions.
• Identify areas for improvement, troubleshoot technical issues, and propose and implement design modifications of existing product lines.
• Lead collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, project managers, and stakeholders, to ensure project goals are met.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements, industry trends, and technological innovations in cooling systems, sealed systems, and refrigerated product designs.
• Actively participate in continuous learning and professional development activities, including attending training programs, workshops, and conferences.

Skills/Experience

• Ice maker refrigeration design and system balancing experience.
• Experience with flammable, low-GWP refrigerants and control system safety.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of engineering principles and concepts as they relate to sealed systems and cooling methods.
• Proficiency in thermal simulation software.
• Ability to plan and oversee laboratory testing with hands‑on approach to prototype development.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple sub-projects in parallel, or multiple system variants in different stages of a project.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to convey technical information clearly.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master's in Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in an engineering role.
