Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
• 3–5 years’ experience in consumer goods purchasing or manufacturing (seafood preferred).
• Bilingual English/Mandarin/Chinese is required.
• Willingness to travel ~30%, including international travel.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage the purchase of raw seafood and seafood products.
• Coordinate vessel schedules for unloading and sizing of fish.
• Manage communications between plants and suppliers regarding downgrades, rejects and quality issues.
• Evaluate suppliers and develop relationships with boat owners and their teams.
• Provide market intelligence and present strategies to senior leadership.
• Support inventory management to meet usage needs at lowest cost.
• Develop and implement purchasing policies and procedures.
