Job summary

Peraton Labs is seeking a senior network security engineer to lead secure design and sustainment of multi-enclave network architectures. You will shape risk assessments, define system-level security solutions, and ensure trusted cross-domain integrations for a DoD/IC customer. On-site work near College Park, MD is required.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in Network Security Engineering for DoD/IC programs with a related degree.
• 5+ years applying security principles on Juniper, FORE, and Cisco devices.
• Experience installing and supporting network telecom and security capabilities.
• Hands-on with LAN/WAN, VLANs, VoIP, routing (RIP/OSPF/EIGRP), AAA/TACACS, and ACLs.
• Experience with VPNs, IDS/IPS, SDN platforms, and cross-domain security.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, and validate secure network solutions across multiple enclaves.
• Recommend system-level security solutions to satisfy mission and compliance needs.
• Lead security planning, risk analysis, and risk management activities.
• Enforce trusted relationships among external systems and architectures.
• Engineer SDN-enabled architectures with segmentation and policy enforcement.
• Install, configure, harden, troubleshoot, and support network infrastructure.
• Develop security artifacts: design packages, diagrams, and evidence.
• Provide guidance and participate in design and security reviews.
