Job summary
DLS Engineering seeks a Principle Network Engineer for a full-time, on-site role with the Air Force Intranet Control program at Gunter Annex, AL. You will analyze, design, and troubleshoot complex enterprise networks, including SDN implementations and automation scripts, while supporting secure DoD networks.
The position requires IAT-II and CCNP certifications and an active Top Secret/SCI clearance, with a competitive salary and strong benefits.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience with installing, configuring, troubleshooting, upgrading, patching, and hardening routers, serial consoles, load balancers, and switches.
- SME experience with enterprise network architectures and configurations; SDN experience highly desired.
- IAT-II certification (required)
- CCNP certification (required)
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance (required)
Responsibilities
- Analyzes and simulates network traffic to aid in problem resolution or test updated configurations in lab environments.
- Monitors system utilization and circuit bandwidth, reports anomalies to Government team leads.
- Design, implement, and troubleshoot the most complex Enterprise network solutions and/or issues.
- Develops, executes, modifies or removes scripts to automate tasks; document workload activities for auditing.
