Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking an experienced software leader for its NGN SDS team, focusing on multi-tenant control-plane and data-plane architecture for NGN/GeForce NOW. You will drive Open vSwitch/OVN integration, Kubernetes networking, and secure service APIs in a large-scale production environment.

Qualified candidates bring 12+ years in C/Go production software, strong Linux networking, and experience with CI/CD and incident response.

Qualifications

BS or MS in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
12+ years designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining production software in C and Go.
Experience with Open vSwitch and OVN, including OpenFlow integration.
Production Kubernetes networking experience and related concepts.
Strong Linux networking fundamentals and overlay networking knowledge.
Experience architecting distributed systems with secure service APIs.
Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, deployments, and observability.

Responsibilities

Collaborate to define and evolve multi-tenant control-plane and data-plane architecture.
Provide technical leadership through design reviews and production readiness decisions.
Develop and review software for Kubernetes networking and network plugins.
Translate requirements into secure orchestration services and APIs.
Drive Open vSwitch and OVN integration across flow and lifecycle management.
Build automated tests connected to CI/CD and release workflows.
Lead on-call rotation and coordinate incident response with data.
Define reliability, performance, and security objectives with monitoring.
