Job summary

Riot Games in Los Angeles seeks a Senior Software Engineer for the Publishing Platform group to build client SDKs across platforms and empower game developers with Riot platform services. You will collaborate with technical PMs and engineers to tackle high-volume challenges and deliver player value.

You will report to the Software Engineering Manager of the SDK Foundations team, work on high-quality code, and contribute to team-owned releases and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS or related field.
• 4+ years in software engineering with C++ (14+).
• 2+ years with Unreal Engine 4.x/5.x building tools or gameplay components.
• Experience contributing to large-scale, high-availability systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support client-side SDKs across console, desktop, and mobile for Riot games.
• Develop and support Unreal plugins interfacing with client SDKs and Riot Platform Services.
• Build high-quality SDKs enabling features like networking, messaging, and engine integration.
• Be an individual contributor, conducting architecture and code reviews.
