Job summary

Riot Games is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Riot Mobile team to build and scale a mobile platform supporting millions of players. You will work across iOS and Android, delivering features spanning personalization, social systems, and cross‑game experiences.

You’ll own multi‑month technical efforts from discovery through delivery and collaborate with product, design, and engineering partners. You’ll work with native code, Kotlin Multiplatform, Riot APIs, AWS Lambdas, React, Spring

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, including mobile app shipping.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or comparable experience.
• Experience with complex code bases and collaborating with UX designers.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain mobile features across iOS and Android that support millions of players across Riot’s ecosystem
• Own and execute on multi‑month projects, from technical discovery through production delivery
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to break down ambiguous problem spaces and deliver impactful solutions
• Make and influence technical decisions at the team level, contributing to architecture and long‑term technical strategy
• Write high‑quality, maintainable code with test coverage and code reviews
• Improve Riot Mobile reliability and performance through monitoring, on‑call rotations, and incident response
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and engineering standards
• Mentor and support other engineers through collaboration and knowledge sharing
• Partner with teams across Riot to enable cross‑game experiences
