Job summary

Pulsara is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) for a fully remote role based in the United States. The SDET will design and maintain automation frameworks, perform manual and automated testing, and mentor others while collaborating across mobile, web, and API platforms.

They will work within a HIPAA‑compliant, AWS-driven environment, contributing to cross‑team quality initiatives and advancing testing practices with modern tools and AI-assisted strategies.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in software testing, including test planning, manual and exploratory testing, regression testing, and defect reporting.
• Strong track record designing, implementing, and maintaining reliable automation frameworks and substantial test suites across mobile, web, and API environments.
• Experience mentoring engineers or testers and guiding testing practices.
• Hands-on programming or scripting in Swift, Java, Kotlin, Ruby, TypeScript, Bash, Python.
• Experience testing healthcare technology or mission-critical software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks and test suites with reliable performance.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD workflows to enable earlier issue detection and dependable releases.
• Plan and execute testing across mobile and web platforms, APIs, and AWS-based tools.
• Mentor other team members and help shape testing and automation strategies.
• Troubleshoot defects, document reproducible findings, and verify fixes.
