Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test to join as a remote, full-time employee in the United States. You will design, build, and improve automation frameworks while embedding quality across the SDLC and partnering with product, design, and engineering teams.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in programming (Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#), hands-on UI automation with Selenium/Cypress/Playwright, and experience testing REST or gRPC APIs in modern

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Five or more years of experience as an SDET or in test-focused software engineering roles.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major UI automation framework (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Solid experience automating REST and/or gRPC APIs.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for test automation.
• Solid SQL skills and experience with database validation.
• Strong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and modern web architectures.
• Excellent debugging, communication, and documentation skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and continually improve automation frameworks.
• Write production-quality test code and embed quality engineering across the SDLC.
• Collaborate with development teams to embed quality engineering throughout the lifecycle.
• Raise the bar through code review, design review, and mentorship of junior engineers.
• Possess strong debugging and documentation skills and communicate clearly.
