Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced SDET Engineer for a 100% remote US role. You will design, build, and improve test automation frameworks and write production-quality test code to embed quality across the SDLC.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in SDET/test-focused roles, strong programming in Java/Python/JavaScript/C#, and hands-on UI automation with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright. Experience with REST/gRPC APIs and CI/CD is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 7+ years of experience as an SDET or in test-focused software engineering roles.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
• Hands-on experience with UI automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Experience automating REST and/or gRPC APIs.
• CI/CD pipelines for test automation.
• SQL skills with database validation.
• Knowledge of microservices and modern web architectures.
• Agile/Scrum experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and continuously improve automation frameworks.
• Write production-quality test code and maintain it.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering to embed quality throughout the SDLC.
• Lead code/design reviews and mentor junior engineers.
• Translate ambiguous requirements into well-engineered solutions.
