Job summary

BrickRed Systems is seeking a Senior SDET Engineer with 5–7+ years of QA automation experience to design and maintain automation frameworks and ensure software quality. The role requires teamwork with development and DevOps to support continuous testing in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate will perform UI, API, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing, and will integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines while crafting test plans and schedules.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of SDET/QA Automation experience.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Karate, TestNG, Cucumber, Rest Assured, or Postman.
• Strong API Testing, TDD/BDD, and Agile experience.
• Experience with JIRA and SQL (Oracle/Snowflake).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana, or Prometheus.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts.
• Perform UI, API, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Create test plans, test cases, RTMs, estimates, and schedules.
• Analyze requirements and identify test scenarios and risks.
• Manage defects, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and track quality metrics.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, Product, and DevOps teams.
• Contribute to automation strategy and QA best practices.
• Leverage AI-assisted testing tools to improve productivity (preferred).
