Job summary

BrickRed Systems seeks a highly skilled Quality Engineering Lead to drive end-to-end testing across Web, Mobile, and API platforms. Qualifications

• 5+ years of Quality Engineering and Test Automation experience.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, and REST API automation.
• 3–5 years of end-to-end testing across Web, Mobile, and APIs.
• Strong programming skills in Java, C#, Python, or TypeScript (2–4 years).
• 2–3 years of Appium for mobile automation.
• Understanding of customer journeys, middleware, and backend integrations.
• 2–3 years of SQL for data verification.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD, Test Grid, and Tosca automation.
• Proficiency with JIRA and qTest.
• 2–4 years of manual testing experience.
• Knowledge of authentication, payments, and order lifecycle validation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and own end-to-end manual and automated testing for releases.
• Build and maintain automation suites using Selenium, Playwright, Appium, and REST API automation frameworks.
• Lead testing activities across modules ensuring quality gates and exit criteria.
• Drive in-sprint Agile testing including planning, estimation, and risk discussions.
• Validate user stories early to support defect prevention and early detection.
• Define and optimize functional, regression, and E2E testing strategies using shared frameworks and cloud platforms.
• Leverage AI-assisted testing for test generation, selection, and failure analysis.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote QE standards and continuous improvement.
