Job summary

Tech Holding is seeking a Senior SDET / Test Automation Engineer for a project-based assignment to build automated testing and release systems ensuring reliability as traffic grows in an AWS-based environment.

This hands-on role focuses on test automation, API/integration testing, performance, and CI/CD quality gates. You will design reusable test frameworks, automate critical workflows, and partner with engineering to ensure quality is built into the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Strong experience as an SDET or similar engineering-focused testing role.
• Experience testing APIs, distributed services, and cloud-based applications.
• Hands-on experience in AWS environments.
• Strong experience building automated API and integration test frameworks.
• Hands-on performance and scalability testing using tools such as k6, Gatling, Locust, JMeter.
• Experience designing automated QA gates and CI/CD integration.
• Experience with contract testing across service boundaries.
• Strong debugging and observability skills across systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve the automated testing architecture across products and engineering teams.
• Build and maintain automated API, integration, contract, end-to-end, regression, and UI tests.
• Develop reusable test frameworks, fixtures, synthetic data, mocks, and environment strategies.
• Build automated testing for distributed services and integrations in AWS environments.
• Design and execute load, stress, spike, soak, scalability, degradation, and recovery tests.
• Translate performance scenarios into repeatable automated test suites with measurable thresholds.
• Model workloads, concurrency levels, traffic patterns, and data volumes.
• Integrate automated suites into CI/CD pipelines and enforce release gates.
• Create automated release checks tied to quality, latency, reliability, and performance."
• Establish practices for flaky tests and failure reporting; improve observability.
