Job summary

Apple is seeking a Software Developer in Test for its Video Apps team. You will plan, design, and execute end-to-end test cases, both manually and via automation using Python and Swift.

You’ll drive quality improvements and report bugs with robust isolation/regression techniques, coordinating across teams in a fast-paced environment. This role requires 5+ years in QA/QE, strong testing of mobile/desktop apps and APIs, and experience with iOS/macOS.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA/QE experience.
• 1+ years as Software Engineer in Test.
• Proficiency in Python and Swift.
• Testing mobile/desktop apps and APIs.
• Understanding SDLC and QA processes.
• Proven bug detection, isolation and regression skills.
• Experience with iOS/macOS testing.
• Experience with AI-powered test tooling.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, write, maintain and execute end-to-end test cases manually and with automation (Swift/Python).
• Drive quality and process improvements for release readiness.
• Report bugs with strong isolation and regression techniques.
• Coordinate multi-functional test efforts and manage priorities.
