Apple Inc. in Cupertino invites a talented Performance & Automation Test Engineer to join the Creativity Apps group. You will define and implement performance tests, build automation for native macOS/iOS applications, and help ensure video/photo features run rock-solid.

Qualifications

Experience in Python and shell scripting.
Experience with performance testing tools for native applications.
Understanding of software and hardware performance testing methodologies.
Software engineering fundamentals and CS concepts.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
At least 5 years experience in DevOps, test automation, or related tooling.
Demonstrated experience using AI tools to automate daily workflows.
Hands-on experience with native application automation frameworks and scalable testing infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Define and develop performance test cases, metrics, benchmarks and automated regression detection.
Contribute to delivering scalable performance and automation infrastructure.
Plan, design, write, maintain, and execute tests manually and via automation using Swift and Python.
Drive quality improvements to ensure features are rock-solid and ready for release.
Report bugs with isolation and regression techniques.
Balance deliverables while communicating progress/risks effectively.
Coordinate multi-functional test efforts with team.
