Job summary

Gov Services Hub is seeking a Senior SDET to extend and enhance test automation frameworks. You will own test strategy, design, and execution while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

The role is Hybrid in Chicago, IL, 12+ months Contract, with a Caterpillar engagement. You will lead automation efforts, develop API and performance tests, and mentor QA engineers onshore and offshore.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall experience in software testing and SDET roles.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in test automation framework design.
• Strong design and development experience in two or more: Java, JavaScript/Python; BI/BDD tools like Cucumber/JBehave.
• Strong experience in Web Services / REST API testing and performance testing with JMeter.
• Experience in leading QA teams onshore and offshore.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Define and own test strategy and plans.
• Develop and maintain automated and manual test cases.
• Extend and maintain automation frameworks using Java and JavaScript.
• Design API automation and performance tests using REST and JMeter.
• Lead QA engineers onshore and offshore; mentor team members.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and CI/CD processes.
