Job summary

3Core Systems Inc. in Chicago is seeking a Lead SDET to head the expansion of the SIT automation framework and drive the overall test strategy for the program.

You will develop test automation code for CI/CD pipelines and design the API test automation framework to enable scripting, execution, and results analysis. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in testing, strong Java, API, REST, SQL skills, and experience mentoring a team of QE professionals across multiple applications.

Qualifications

• Lead SDET with 10+ years of experience in full-stack testing.
• Strong API testing, REST services, and SQL query skills.
• Expert in CI/CD and DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git).
• Proven ability to mentor test engineers.
• Bachelor’s degree required.

Responsibilities

• Expand SIT automation framework and drive test strategy.
• Develop CI/CD test automation code for systems and infra.
• Design and maintain the API test automation framework.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring for test engineers.
• Coordinate with Product Owner to resolve issues and enhancements.
• Develop automated functional scripts using Java, Karate, and JMeter.
• Perform exploratory and manual testing as appropriate.
