IMPACT Technology Recruiting is seeking a hands-on SDET II to lead API testing, UI automation, and AI-assisted development efforts. The role focuses on building and maintaining automated testing frameworks, validating APIs and web apps, and collaborating with product teams in an Agile environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in software testing and automation, proficiency with Selenium and REST Assured, and strong Java skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on software testing and test automation experience.
• Experience with API testing and automation including Postman/SoapUI.
• Proficiency with Selenium and REST Assured; Cypress or Playwright is a plus.
• Java or another OO language; automation frameworks experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated UI and API tests using Selenium, REST Assured, Java.
• Perform REST/SOAP API testing using Postman, SoapUI, Bruno.
• Build, enhance, and maintain automation frameworks to improve coverage and efficiency.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to identify issues and improve quality.
• Leverage AI-assisted coding and generative AI tools to accelerate test development.
• Participate in product discussions and prototyping for solutions.
• Support functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing in Agile.
