Job summary

Two Six Technologies is seeking a Senior Software Development in Test to join our Arlington, VA team. You will develop and execute manual and automated tests across software-hardware interfaces, APIs, and AI-assisted coding workflows to ensure mission readiness.

You will build test infrastructure, design reusable libraries in Python/Go, and collaborate with engineering, field operations, and program management to align testing with program milestones and customer objectives.

Qualifications

5+ years of systems testing with automation for software-hardware interfaces.
3+ years building test frameworks, CI/CD systems, or developer platforms.
3+ years system-level integration testing focusing on APIs and hardware/software.
Strong networking, distributed systems, and data-flow knowledge.
Experience UNIX/Linux and SQL or other databases.
Familiarity with AI-assisted coding concepts and verification.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain production-grade test infrastructure and tooling.
Design reusable Python/Go libraries for tests.
Perform full-stack system testing across APIs, hardware interfaces, and diagnostics.
Develop end-to-end, regression, and performance tests for hardware integration.
Evaluate hardware endpoints and data streams as a unified ecosystem.
Maintain test environments mirroring operational deployments.
Assist in rolling out automated testing frameworks.
Design testing strategies for AI-assisted code verification.
Document and track system defects and feature requests.
Align test lifecycles with program milestones and timelines.
