Job summary

Vestmark, Inc. in Boston, MA is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to build automated tests, maintain test assets, and support releases for our growing client base.

You will advance automated testing capabilities, explore AI-assisted testing strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams using Jira, Jenkins, SonarQube, GitHub, and Postman to ensure high-quality software.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Software Quality Assurance experience, ideally in Financial Technology or related domain.
• Experience with Agile SDLC tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, and Jenkins
• Strong automation and API testing skills with web services and CI/CD tooling

Responsibilities

• Apply expertise to ensure product suite meets documented acceptance criteria and client quality expectations
• Contribute to expansion of automated testing capabilities and coverage
• Explore and implement AI-assisted testing strategies to enhance QE workflows
• Evaluate and champion AI/ML tooling to improve team velocity and quality coverage
• Instill QA best practices on the scrum team by collaborating on test coverage
• Ability to write tests from abstract requirements
• Provide feedback on product performance and user experience
• Participate in all aspects of the Agile SDLC; provide feedback during grooming, retrospectives, and planning
• Configure and verify continuous build plans in Jenkins and SonarQube to ensure quality of code changes
• Contribute to review of product documentation/release notes
