Job summary

Kind Lending is seeking a Senior SDET to automate the loan lifecycle and enable faster, compliant releases in a regulated mortgage environment. You will build test infra across API, UI, and AI features, and translate UAT knowledge into automated coverage.

Responsibilities include designing test strategies for LOS (Blue Sage) and broker portal, creating AI evaluation harnesses, and ensuring quality gates before pilots scale. Strong coding in TS/JS, Python, Java, or C# is required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in software engineering with 4+ in SDET or test automation.
• Strong coding skills in at least one of TS/JS, Python, Java, or C#.
• Experience building test frameworks from scratch and CI/CD integration.

Responsibilities

• Design and own the test automation strategy across the platform for API/integration tests and E2E tests.
• Build test frameworks and tooling used by developers with fixtures and environment seeding.
• Develop evaluation harnesses for AI/LLM features and regression detection.
• Convert manual UAT knowledge into automated coverage and partner with UAT testers.
• Define quality gates for pilot expansion and monitor production to catch escapes.
• Verify compliance-critical behavior and data integrity across systems.
