Job summary

Socure is seeking a Senior SDET to advance quality engineering across disaster recovery and production environments. You will design automated health checks, validate critical business workflows, and build validation pipelines to reduce alert noise while improving observability.

You will partner with QA, SRE, and Engineering to implement AI/ML-driven failure detection, automate remediation suggestions, and strengthen incident response and recovery readiness in a distributed system landscape.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in QA Automation, SDET, or related field.
• Proficiency building and maintaining automated test frameworks (Playwright, Jest, SuperTest, REST API testing).
• Experience in cloud environments, preferably AWS.
• Familiarity with observability/monitoring tools (Datadog, New Relic, CloudWatch, Splunk).
• Strong programming skills (TypeScript, Python, Java).
• Experience designing end-to-end test strategies for distributed systems and production-like environments.
• Ability to analyze failures across application, infra, and workflow layers.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated functional health checks for DR and production environments.
• Build pipelines for end-to-end validation of critical business workflows.
• Develop intelligent alerting based on failures and user impact, not just metrics.
• Integrate logs, metrics, and traces with test frameworks for better visibility.
• Apply AI/ML approaches to detect failure patterns and root causes.
• Contribute to disaster recovery drills and readiness exercises.
• Collaborate with QA, SRE, and Engineering to improve service reliability.
• Define, measure, and report on functional SLAs and quality metrics.
• Develop automated remediation actions for self-healing capabilities.
