Job summary

Coforge is hiring a Senior Software Development Engineer (SDE) to join our cloud and DevOps initiatives remotely. The candidate will apply Python, Bash, AWS, and CI/CD practices to improve platform reliability and security across multiple cloud environments.

Responsibilities include automating secret rotation, managing AWS resources, analyzing Kibana logs, and developing automation scripts with Python and Bash, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to accelerate delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Python and Bash scripting.
• Experience working with GitHub Actions and CI/CD automation.
• Experience managing AWS services, including secrets management and S3 assets.
• Experience using Git-based workflows and pull request reviews.

Responsibilities

• Improve the reliability and automation of secret rotation processes using GitHub Actions.
• Manage secrets, security assets, and cloud resources within AWS environments.
• Analyse Kibana logs and identify issues to support development teams in troubleshooting and resolution.
• Develop automation scripts and operational tooling using Python and Bash.
• Review and validate infrastructure-related pull requests written in HCL, JSON, and related technologies.
• Configure and maintain Kibana integrations, including ingestion of SIEM data sources.
• Utilize AI-powered development tools to accelerate software delivery and improve engineering productivity.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance platform reliability, security, and operational efficiency.
• Support infrastructure automation, monitoring, and incident investigation activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across cloud and DevOps environments.
