Description

Seeking a Senior Scrum Master to deliver enhanced workflow efficiency, cultivate a continuous learning environment, and coach teams in Agile practices.

The ideal candidate will:

1. Guide and coach the team on Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services to our customers.
2. Recognize areas of strength and improvement and employ appropriate coaching and development techniques.
3. Ensure and support the team in Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines.
4. Coach the team in self-organization, cross-functional skillset, domain knowledge and communicate effectively, both internally and externally working within the team.
5. Work with teams as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making and support organizational projects or product teams.
6. Resolve team impediments with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization.
7. Contribute to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization.
8. Facilitate and support all scrum events.

Requirements

1. Active/current Secret Clearance is required at the time of hire.
2. Bachelor's degree.
3. SAFe Certified Scrum Master.
4. 7+ years' of demonstrated Scrum Master, Scrum, and Agile practice experience.
5. Demonstrated experience facilitating meetings with all levels of management.
6. Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills.
7. Knowledge of Agile framework or method (i.e. Scrum, Kanban), and understanding of software development life cycle models as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices.
8. Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques.
9. Planning and problem solving with product management and delivery teams.
