Senior Scrum Master (Remote)

We are looking for a scrum master with 8+ years of experience to join our team

Location: Columbus - IN (Remote)

**Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States**

Role and Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Scrum events like Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Retrospective meetings, ensuring effective team collaboration and progress tracking
• Manage Product Backlog: Ensure alignment with business goals and user needs.
• Coach and mentor teams: Coach and mentor team members on Agile principles and Scrum practices, improving team performance and efficiency.
• Remove impediments: Identify and remove impediments that hinder team progress, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products
• Improve team performance: Improved team velocity and reduced project delivery time through the implementation of Agile practices.
• Lead Agile transformations: Lead company-wide Agile transformations, improving delivery efficiency.
• Implement continuous improvement programs: Implement continuous improvement programs, enhancing team productivity.

Qualifications:

• Scrum Master Certificate

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 6/3/2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $81K - $135K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
