Job summary

FIS is seeking a Scrum Master to lead cross-functional teams in delivering agile-based project outcomes. You will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments, and communicate progress to product owners, managers, and team members in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes adherence to Scrum principles, continuous improvement, and effective collaboration with IT and business stakeholders. Eligible candidates typically have 6+ years in project management or Agile roles.

Qualifications

• Typically minimum 6+ years project management experience or Agile experience within an IT PMO or as a PM or Scrum Master.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field from an accredited university.
• TSYS or Agile experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates the Scrum process: Daily Scrums, Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives.
• Assists with internal/external communication, improving transparency and radiating information.
• Provides updates on the team's status and removes impediments to increase sprint success.
• Establishes a team environment by building trust and creating transparency.
• Manages day-to-day progress of Agile initiatives.
• Drives collaborative decision making and ensures the team adapts to changes.
• Maintains positive relationships with IT and internal customers to facilitate project work.
• Builds understanding of Agile foundations and processes.
• Assists with prioritization and identifying defects.
• Promotes continuous improvement of structure, processes and tooling.
• Develops understanding of business and technical terms.
• Uses analytical skills to identify impediments.
