Job summary

Apex Systems is seeking an experienced Scrum Master III to support Agile teams in the Columbus area. The role is onsite with preferred Columbus location and one day per week onsite within the client footprint.

This contract-to-hire position focuses on delivering complex banking and capital markets initiatives. The ideal candidate will lead ceremonies, coach teams on Scrum, manage dependencies and risks, and collaborate with product owners, architecture, and vendors to ensure timely delivery and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Scrum Master experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience fostering Agile transformation.

Responsibilities

• Lead Agile ceremonies: planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coach teams on Scrum principles and best practices.
• Drive accountability to meet delivery objectives.
• Identify and escalate risks, blockers, and dependencies.
• Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, development teams, architecture teams, and vendors.
• Advocate for the team and promote delivery transparency.
• Support process improvements and Agile maturity.
• Coordinate activities across banking technology teams.
