Job summary

BCforward seeks a Senior Agilist to join the Agile Center in Cincinnati, OH on a 3+ month contract with strong extension potential. The role requires at least 3 years of full-time business experience and 1–2 years Scrum experience, plus coaching ability to mentor peers and teams.

You will work with Agile squads to apply Scrum values, remove impediments beyond the team, foster high‑performing collaboration, and build trust to sustain business value through continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-time business experience
• 1+ year Scrum experience
• Experience teaching and mentoring peers and teams
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Coaching skills with ability to communicate complex messages
• Ability to resolve conflicts and mediate effectively
• Active coach focused on growing teams and maximizing potential
• Bachelor's in business, CS, engineering or related field or equivalent in work experience

Responsibilities

• Support Agile squads and ensure understanding of Agile values and Scrum practices
• Co-create working environments that enable squads to form high-performing teams
• Mentor peers and teams, and remove impediments outside of the team
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and promote transparency
• Promote innovative thinking and continuous improvement within the Agile Center
