Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a seasoned Scrum Master to guide agile teams, remove impediments, and promote continuous improvement across projects. You will work closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals.

You will coach teams, plan budgets and resources, forecast capacity, and implement backlog refinement processes. A Bachelor’s degree and 5–7+ years in agile delivery are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of work experience in agile delivery.
• Adept at problem solving and decision making.
• Adept at collaboration and teamwork.
• Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others).
• Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting).
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coaches scrum masters and product owners on agile principles, values, and best practices.
• Develops budgets and resource planning strategy with team velocity and data.
• Determines amount of work that fits project timelines.
• Ensures risk assessments include mitigation and contingency plans.
• Establishes backlog management and user story refinement processes.
• Forecasts team capacity and delivery potential for releases.
• Supports common language and framework for team collaboration.
• Improves capacity and addresses bottlenecks proactively.
• Integrates adaptability, transparency, and customer collaboration into processes.
