Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems, Multi-Domain Operations, and Missile Defense Integration is seeking a Software Configuration Management Analyst (SCM) – Level 4 to anchor baseline integrity in a Boulder, CO on-site role. The position emphasizes governance, traceability, and mentoring a DevSecOps team as automation emerges.

The candidate will oversee baselines across development streams, manage repositories and artifacts, and drive standardization of SCM processes while partnering with DevSecOps

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline with 8+ years related experience, or higher degrees with fewer years.
• Active in-scope US Government Secret clearance at the time of application.
• Experience in a Linux environment; Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Nexus.
• Proven configuration control experience and ability to coordinate modification records to maintain baseline control.
• Expert-level Git including complex branching, merging, and conflict resolution.
• Experience guiding a team toward CI/CD automation while upholding SCM requirements.
• Strong communication of technical information to different organizational levels with meticulous product integrity.

Responsibilities

• SCM Governance & Control: establish, maintain, audit baselines; ensure releases meet build and config requirements.
• Manage Repositories: oversee permissions, branching strategies, and merge controls.
• Artifact Management: govern storage, versioning, and retention of binaries in Nexus.
• Traceability & Documentation: ensure changes are traceable; develop config standards.
• Defect Review Board (DRB): serve as DRB administrator and facilitator for weekly meetings.
