Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university with 8 years of related experience; or a Master's with 6 years; or a PhD with 4 years.
• Robust experience in Linux environment with Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Nexus.
• Proven experience analyzing proposed product design changes, coordinating modification records, and creating configured builds.
• Expert-level Git, including complex branching, merging, and conflict resolution.
• Experience transitioning from manual builds to CI/CD automation while respecting SCM requirements.
• Excellent communication with varying organizational levels and meticulous gatekeeping for product integrity.

Responsibilities

• Enforce baselines and audit software configuration baselines across development streams.
• Manage Bitbucket permissions, branching strategies, and merge controls.
• Oversee storage, versioning, and retention of binaries in Nexus.
• Ensure traceability of code/configuration changes and develop configuration standards.
• Serve as DRB administrator and facilitate weekly meetings with sustainment and software teams.
• Guide DevSecOps strategy: translate manual steps into automated pipelines and align environments.
• Ensure automation maintains baseline compliance, security, and auditing standards.
• Collaborate with teams to standardize development, staging, and production environments.
