Job summary

Genentech seeks a Senior Scientist in the translational Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics (tPKPD) group within gRED to advance preclinical PKPD studies for biologics. You will design and interpret in vitro and in vivo ADME/PKPD studies to guide pipeline development and contribute to regulatory documents.

You will lead data presentations, publish innovative PKPD research, and collaborate with Clinical Pharmacology, Bioanalytical Sciences, and other departments while upholding GLP and safety

Qualifications

• Ph.D./M.D./PharmD or equivalent in pharmacology, pharmaceutical science, biology, or related field.
• 1–2 years of industry PKPD/pharmacology experience or postdoctoral experience preferred.
• Strong GLP and laboratory safety training required.
• Proven record of publications, patents, or regulatory filings.

Responsibilities

• Design, conduct, analyze, and interpret in vitro and in vivo ADME and PKPD studies for drug candidates.
• Prepare summary tables and reports; assist with INDs/BLAs under supervision.
• Present data at project teams and department meetings.
• Publish PKPD-focused research in top journals.
• Manage a laboratory program supporting PKPD and pipeline projects.
• Collaborate with Clinical Pharmacology, Research, and other groups.
• Participate in compliance and safety activities.
