Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Senior Scientist (Small Molecule, Synthetics) to lead organic chemistry strategies within the Drug Product Team. You will design and execute DOEs, collaborate across functions, and contribute to pivotal and commercial programs.

Your work will support development, documentation, and global filings with attention to detail and scientific rigor. You will interface with teams such as Drug Substance Technologies, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and Manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree (PhD/PharmD/MD) or equivalent.
• Strong background in organic chemistry and solid dosage forms.
• Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams in pharma.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute DOEs during drug product development.
• Design and perform experiments to support drug product objectives.
• Summarize results for regulatory filings and technical documents.
• Interface with multiple Amgen functions and external partners.
