Job summary

The role requires a PhD-level background in organic/medicinal chemistry with 5+ years post-PhD, strong synthetic/analytical skills, and experience with molecular modeling and computational tools.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of post-PhD experience in organic or medicinal chemistry in academic, biotech, or pharma settings.
• Knowledge in modern medicinal chemistry and lead optimization techniques, including multi-parameter bioactivity and physicochemical properties optimization.
• Strong synthetic and analytical chemistry skills with ability to plan multi-step syntheses of complex molecules.
• Familiarity with molecular modeling and computational tools to accelerate discovery of bioactive small molecules.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a drive for collaboration and impact.

Responsibilities

• Design and synthesize small molecules with optimal properties.
• Collaborate across Biology, Computational Science, AI, and ML teams to accelerate discovery.
• Coordinate with CROs to maximize library synthesis and specific compounds.
• Stay updated on new chemistries and technologies to address gaps and drive cost savings.
• Present chemistry and SAR data at meetings and conferences.
